Ladies, I loooove this piece, even as it gets old. However, I did attempt to restore my piece and am pleased with the results.
You must keep in mind that this hair IS SYNTHETIC, and any style that you want to "set" with synthetic hair needs heat, but works best with extremely hot water-think about when people have their hair "twisted", the curls at the end of them are created by rolling the ends with rods and BOILING them. Someone mentioned they braided their wig and it didn't set, and this is why- because synthetic hair requires more "attention"...Long Story short, I first used a light detangling spray (kid's detanglers always work best to me) and got my few tangles out...and then I braided this piece with small braids...about 40 or so and made sure the braids were tight.
I then placed the unit-mainly the BRAIDS in boiling (literally) hot water...this certifies that ur pattern has been made...and then I rinsed it in cold water, to cool it down and immediately set it... Blotted all the excess water and then allowed it to air dry... I found that the ends are no longer "tough" and my 2 best friends tried to "fuss" at me for buyin another wig lol...MISSION ACCOMPLISHED |

| this hair is the bomb!!! it was my first lace front and didnt regret it. after getting old.. i didnt wanna let it go so i kept it. i didnt get a perm yet and had no wigs in my house. i grabbed this wig and blended it with my real hair. it looked just like mine!!! love love love this hair!!!! im about to order another one. |

| i loved the hair but i thought i was too poofy for me so i straightened it.. it still looks pretty natural but you lose that nice soft texture... i'm sad about that part |

| Ok ladies i have a full face with high cheek bones so i hoped this wig in a dark color would compliment the shape and my peanutbutter complextion. This wig is BEAUTIFUL. Its full and flowing. Blows in the wind like natural hair. I tried it wet and it looks stunning. Will have pictures up soon. |

| Ladies, she is hands down the best wig I own. She is my first lace front wig and is so soft and natural-looking. Got her in a #2. Wore her to work straight out the package the next day after she arrived and everyone thought she was mine. It’s that freshly washed and air-dried look. Because of my extra-large head, I had to leave a tiny bit of my hair out in front but that worked in my favor cuz I’m in dire need of a relaxer so my undone roots blended perfectly with elina’s texture adding to the believability of the piece. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her!! Been wearing her every day for the past week and she’s still holding up. Does not tangle easily and very minimal shedding. Wet her for the first time today and she’s even more beautiful! The only cons I have are : 1)there isn’t a back comb. Tho’ she’s very secure without one, I prefer the feel of a comb at the bottom and 2)the ends started ‘splitting’ like actual human hair, but it’s nothing a quick trim didn’t fix. She’s worth $65. and I got her for $23. off of clairhair.com and she arrived in 4 days flat! Ladies, get her!!! |

This is a must have wig especially for the price. I absolutely love it. Loved the video of Ms Oneal. I flat ironed mine and I rather the poofy or puffy look better. To answer Ms. Davenporte's question, Elina will not be the same once you flat iron it. I washed the wig, put small braids into it, took it out the braids, and alot of the poof is gone...lucky thing I own another one. The wig is wearable, but its not an Elina anymore, more like an Elin..lol..
The wig has very little to no shedding. Very natural look. Hope this helps. |

As I've happily expressed before, Elina does almost NO shedding! I am still blown away by that! She does tangle like other wigs, particularly in back, but it can be brushed out with maybe the loss of only 2 hairs. I swear ~ the shedding is almost non-existent!

I love this wig straight than the way it looks when it comes out the box. The hair is very soft and the hairline is on point but you will have to put some makeup on those lace because its very obvious. But its not too bad.
